The East Sussex Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) is the multi-agency partnership that addresses drug and alcohol issues locally. The DAAT involves a wide range of stakeholders through special interest groups, and our Terms of Reference can be found here.

 The DAAT work includes:

  • Coordinating the countywide implementation of the national drug and alcohol strategies
  • Producing drug and alcohol needs assessments
  • Commissioning recovery focused drug and alcohol treatment and support services
  • Coordinating partnership activity aimed at promoting good health and reducing drug and alcohol harm
The work is aligned with the strategies of the Safer Communities Partnership and Health and Wellbeing Board.

DAAT publications can be found under 'our publications' page.
