Our aim is to make East Sussex a safer place to live, work and visit. We work together to address crime, disorder, re-offending, anti-social behaviour, substance misuse and fear of crime.

During 2010 to 2011 we will be focusing on the following areas:

Reducing crime levels in East Sussex
Find out how we are targeting our resources in areas which are crime hotspots

Alcohol
Find out how we are reducing the harm caused by alcohol

Violent crime
Find out how we are preventing and reducing violent crime.

Road safety
Find out how we are improving your road safety.

Adults who continue to break the law
Find out how we are reducing the number of adults who continue to break the law.

Drugs
Find out how we are reducing the harm caused by drugs.

Crime where items are stolen or acquired fraudulently
Find out how we are reducing crime where items are stolen or acquired fraudulently.

Anti-social behaviour
Find out how we are reducing anti-social behaviour (that is behaviour that can cause harassment, alarm or distress) and improving your perceptions of anti-social behaviour.

Young people and crime
Find out how we are preventing young people from committing crime.

Communications and community engagement
Find out how we are improving the way we communicate with you to make sure you have confidence in us to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour

Listening to victims of Hate Crime

We are reviewing the support services available to victims of hate crime and are inviting anyone who may have experienced hate crime, to have their say by completing our questionnaire (Word, 199Kb). Consultation ends on 30 September 2010.
