16 Days of Activism: November 25th - December 10th
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign which starts on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (November 25th) and concludes on Human Rights Day (December 10th). The campaign raises awareness and calls for an end to all forms of gender-based violence.

The Domestic Abuse Alliance offer free online training for frontline professionals on domestic abuse and civil protection orders, which covers:
- Introduction to the Domestic Abuse Alliance and the WEPROTECT referral service
- The different forms of domestic abuse
- An overview of civil protection orders, including Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders, and Domestic Abuse Protection Orders
- When and how these orders can be used, including urgent ‘without notice’ applications
- Funding options – Legal Aid, pro bono and private funding
- Key considerations where children are involved, and protection from cross-examination
